    • Fork and Spoon -- pay-as-you-can restaurant and food truck (2x per month in Belgrade)
    • Gallatin Valley Food Bank -- Emergency Food Box program, 602 Bond St., Bozeman. Hours: Mon–Fri 1–4pm and Tue 1–4pm & 5–7pm. They also have a Pop-Up Pantry on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at Peace Lutheran Church on Jackrabbit in Belgrade.
    • SNAP -- Supplemental Nutrition Program - 1-888-706-1535. For SNAP benefits, people who live together and buy food and prepare meals together are classified as a household.
    • WIC (Women, Infants, & Children) -- 201 W. Madison St., Belgrade, 406-539-7070. They also have a Home Visiting Program with Spanish speakers; contact: hvreferrals@gallatin.mt.gov

    • KidsLINK After School Program - Greater Gallatin United Way's After School Initiative, providing after-school care for children from Kindergarten to 8th grade. Includes physical activity, homework help, enrichment activities, and healthy snacks. 406-587-2194

    • Bozeman Medicaid Office - Questions about Medicaid and Healthy Montana Kids insurance
    • Charlie Health - Telehealth intensive mental health support. Medicaid accepted for under 18. Offers free parent support groups, caregiver groups, suicide support groups, athlete support groups, and provider support groups. 866-491-5196
    • Community Health Partners (CHP) - One-stop clinic offering medical, dental, mental health, and optical services. Sliding scale fees available. Resource coordinators assist with food and housing resources. 406-585-1360

    • Energy Share Program - 888-779-7589. A private nonprofit program that provides utility assistance and is not government-run.
    • Family Outreach - Organization supporting families who have children with disabilities.
    • Greater Impact - Low-cost auto repair shop and rentable space for individuals who want to do their own repairs.
    • Hardship Grants for Single Mothers - Information on grants available for single mothers.
    • Journey Church Benevolence Request - Provides very short-term assistance for emergency housing and personal crises.
    • Love INC - Nonprofit providing household goods and clothing. Belgrade location operates as a Clothes Closet and also offers home and auto repair assistance. Apply under “receive assistance.”

    • Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) - 833-317-1080. Helps cover heating costs (typically October through April).

    • Bienvenidos - Organization supporting Spanish-speaking migrants. Intake begins with Carmen Rubio at Family Promise in Bozeman, who helps assess needs and connect families to resources. Currently no volunteers in Belgrade.

Provides support coordination for therapy, schooling, and disability services for children and families. Also assists with Early Intervention and Adult Support Services. Available for questions and referrals.

    • Family Promise - Emergency shelter, early childhood education, and family resource center
    • Haven - Provides confidential support, legal advocacy, counseling, and a safe place to stay for anyone impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, and stalking
    • Housing Choice Voucher Program - Apply to Region 6
    • HRDC Warming Center - Emergency shelter in Bozeman. The Warming Center provides family shelter in a transitional hotel called “Wheat Suites.”

      Wheat Suites Programs:
      • Family Non-congregate Shelter
        • 6 rooms for families with dependent children experiencing homelessness
        • Stays up to 3 months
        • 2 emergency rooms available for overnight intake in urgent situations (first come, first served)
      • Family Transitional Housing
        • 12 rooms for families experiencing or at risk of homelessness
        • Stays up to 2 years
      • Workforce Transitional Housing
        • For individuals or families earning $2,500/month or more transitioning to permanent housing
        • Rent is $750/month, month-to-month lease

    All programs share the same referral process: Referral Form and have slightly different eligibility criteria.
